Welcome to the Society of Community Health Oriented Operational Links (SCHOOL), also known as 'SCHOOL for Development and Impact'. Since our founding in 2007, we have been dedicated to working with vulnerable communities to bring about visible impact in their lives.
Guided by the Sustainable Development Goals, SCHOOL takes an integrated and transformative approach to development, focusing on the reciprocation between social systems, economy, culture, education, and livelihoods. Our unique approach includes addressing all the social determinants that impact human lives, with a strong focus on empowerment and participation.
While we have specific programs and focus areas, our ultimate goal is to protect vulnerable populations and ensure good health and well-being. Join us in making a positive impact in the world.
To bring about inclusive development to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs)
The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the marginalised and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Inclusive development ensures that everyone has equal opportunities to participate in and benefit from economic, social and political progress.
We recognize that the SDGs are interdependent and holistic, and cannot be achieved without inclusive development. By focusing on inclusive development, we aim to make a meaningful contribution towards achieving the SDGs and creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
To achieve this, we work to address systemic inequalities and actively engage marginalized groups in decision-making and program design. We also ensure that our policies and programs are accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of all members of society.
